    Déjà vu

Mum, Dad and I sent my little sis off to Queensland yesterday morning. Yup, it was on Valentine’s Day! 3 years ago, I first flew to Melbourne on that very day too. What a co-incidence! This whole goodbye experience was déjà vu to me. The feeling was so strong like I has witnessed or experienced this “new” (sis, leaving on a jet) situation previously.

    Now

Packing luggage, getting ready in the morning before the flight, feeling scared and sad, wearing blazer to look smart, reporting to JPA officers once in KLIA, lining up to check in luggage, taking farewell pictures with family, final briefing from JPA, saying goodbyes to family and friends, last kisses and hugging before leaving the international gate, uncontrollable tears, looking at family for the final time with a heavy heart, going through the custom check, waiting anxiously at boarding gate, feeling worried what the future lies ahead, went up the plane and off in the air leaving Malaysia for Australia.

Luggage and a box. 37 kg!!

    Final Goodbye

However, this time the experience was a bit different. It was so sad to see family crying and sobbing. Many refused to leave the international gate even though their daughters or sons had left. I could not even control myself. It was heartbreaking to her leave. I was proud that my mum was strong. Although she did not cry, I knew that she was very sad. We miss her so much already. We hope that everything will turn out well for her. Love you sis
