Mixed Feelings. Sis is flying to Brisbane this Saturday to further her studies at the University of Queensland. I am so proud that my little sis finally made it to university. She is now one step further to achieve her dreams to be a reowned pharmacist one day. Glad that her accommodation is settled after weeks of worrying and having a huge set back at the beginning. Plus, she passed her driving test too. Congrats! Way to go girl!

At the same time, I am feeling sad as we are going to be separated in Australia. Sobs! Although we are studying in the same country, sad to say that we are separated by two different states. I am definitly going to miss her a lot. On the brighter side, I can visit my little sis in Brisbane during holidays :)

Good luck and all the best in Uni. Life in a foreign place is not going to be easy. Be brave, sis. Don’t afraid to speak out and don’t be shy to ask if you are unsure. Everyone there is very nice and friendly. Nobody is going to laugh at you or eat you up if you ask silly questions. Independence and confidence are the keys to survivor now.

Besides that, always manage your money wisely. Don’t overspend and budget at all times. Sis, I know that you already heard these advices a million times and you might think that I’m nagging like an old lady. But all these are for your own good. Take heed of these advices as they will definitely help you through your difficult times in Queensland.

Study hard to make mum, dad and arabia proud. Don’t party too hard as life is in uni can be very relaxing. Plus don’t get easily sway by stranger’s sweet talk and don’t let other people bully or take advantage of you. I’m very worried as you are still a teen. Sis, if you encountered any problems, feel free to call or text me. Do not keep it to yourself. You are not all alone. You still have your big sis in Aus. I am not thousands miles away but just one state away from you :) Eat well too. I know that you hate vegetables so eat more fruits. Remember to take good care of yourself as no one will be looking after you anymore. Keep in touch. Last but not least, bon voyage, sis! I miss you!
