Spoilt for Choice?

What will you do when you received your final results? Firstly, I will jump with joy and excitement. Next? Of Course, I will deal with my uni applications.


On Monday, my friend and I went to college to collect our results statement. It was great to see KDU again after 1 month staying at home. What a coincidence! JPA juniors were registering on that day too. Definitely easy to spot them as they were carrying the poslaju letter. This really reminded me when I first came here. Now I'm a senior. Time flies!

Next we took a cab to Subang. I thought that our fare would be above RM15. However when we reached Subang, I was real happy to see the meter stated only 10.30. My friend gave the cabbie a RM10 note as I was busy searching for 30cent. The cabbie was a great man- He said tak payah. One good tactic to get a discounted fare :)

IPD was the first destination, Ms Penny; the counsellor assisted me with my uni applications. She was shocked when I gave her my final results. Hmm..as usual. The other 6 months, I will be doing stuffs like malaysian and moral studies and thinking skills. At last, I decided to apply 4 unis- Melbourne, Sydney, Monsah and Adelaide. ANU was out from my list coz I had to pay AUD 100. Hope to get my first choice uni.

I followed my friend to Selset to deal with her uni applications to NZ. Later we had lunch at MC-D. To save our transport cost, we took the putra-line to Kelana Jaya. Hehe. Cheap- 50 cent only! Then, we took a cab to 1-U and spent 5 hours there. We really had a great time reading gossips magazines in MPH. We had dinner at Vietnamese Kitchen and burned RM 15 in my pocket. Finally, we took the feeder bus back to KDU hostel. I saw juniors shifting in. It was great to know them.

Whew! To sum it all, I laid flat on bed.

Hey! It seems like everyday I watched the movie trailer on TV but at last I got to see the real Batman in cinema. The movie was great. Ok, I had to admit that the first part was a bit boring- stuffs about Bruce parents and life. However when the story reached the climax, it was dam exciting. Plus the effects looked real too. I will sure give an A-. Since the Batman Begins had made a good impression, definitely I cannot wait for his second movie.

What do you think of the pizza? Tempting? Of course.Hehe...I cooked it myself. Since 3weeks of holidays, I had done nothing except learning some cooking skills from my mum. She is definitely the greatest cook! So what do I master from her? Fired rice, macaroni, pizza, spaghetti and baked some cakes too. I guess this skill will be extremely useful when I'm studying in australia next year. Thanks mum!

US Grand Pirx, definitely the worst race in history!

As a usual F1 fan, I will watch every race and can you imagine that I waited until 2am and all I got was a 6 car race? Huge disappointment! Watching in horror as 14 cars on Michelin tyres pulled into the pit lane after the warm-up lap. Plus Ferrari was on the race-definitely hating it.

Ok, fans and Indianapolis track officials were fuming after Sunday's farce saw world champion Michael Schumacher claim his first win of the year ahead of Ferrari team-mate Rubens Barichello to give Ferrari 18 championship points which puts them joint second with McLaren. Now Schumacher was 3rd on the overall standing, just 3 points away from Raikkonen.Hmm... fake points, I guess. With only 6 cars including 4 slowest cars on the track, Schumacher can only claim its first podium for the year-what a hollow victory for him.

What will you feel when you suddenly out of the blue moon got this e-mail from your lecturer?
Pathetic! See this statement: "It is compulsory for all the sponsored JPA students". Again and again JPA students. Definitely a holiday spoiler. Calling us back to college during the middle of the holidays? Why can't the college let us enjoy our day peaceful? They already created so much havoc by pushing the final exams earlier and earlier by 2 weeks. Moreover not to mention that the college already told us all about the Kem Bina Negara thingy. So now what are they going surprise us on 13June? Exam results? Let us wait and see.
