    Illustrating me right now

Last 2 weeks, I received the greatest news. IPD called and told me that I had 2 firm offers from University of Adelaide and University of Sydney. Wow! Definitely I was shocked but very happy. Just a few weeks after my final was out, I applied and I already got news from not only one but 2 universities. Again 3 days ago, second good news came. I received another firm offer from University of New South Wales.

So all together 3 uni offers on my hand and I still cannot make up my mind. Ironically, I got a huge problem. UNSW stated that the date line is on 5th August. Oh, no! I only got 4 more days to make my ultimate decision; my future. Damn, headache right now! I am still waiting for Melbourne University offer. If I do not accept UNSW offer by 5th August, then there would not be a place for me. Hmm. What should I do?

After much thinking, I finally decided not to accept the UNSW offer. There are more cons than pros for accepting this offer: have to pay RM 12,000 deposit, have to deal with the uni and visa application all by myself coz I am not applying through IDP and if I accept this offer then I already made up my decision to study there. However, looking at the bright sight, if Melbourne University do not accept my application, I still have backups. So what should I do right now? Just wait for my first choice uni and hope for the best :)

Check it out! Chic Pea Sauce.

Last Thursday, my cousin and her boyfriend brought me out for dinner. As usual, I thought they would bring to pizza hut, mc D or KFC. However, I was quite shocked when they told me that they having Arabic food for dinner. What? Arabic Food; I could not imagine what it would taste like. My cousin told me that it is the healthiest food. The waiter gave us the menu. Ok, had to admit there were a lot of weird food names. At last, I choose an Arabic salad. The food came and my cousin boyfriend explained to me how to eat that particular pita bread. First put some chic pea sauce and then some salad. The pita bread: not bad for a first timer like me! :) My cousin also offered me her dal soup. Hehe. I loved it. I end up eating all her soup. In a nutshell, I still preferred sushi than Arabic food!

    sImPlY LoVe It!

    SoMe FaCts AbOuT FaNtAsTiC 4

A group of astronauts are contaminated while in outer space and because of the changes in their DNA become superheroes back on Earth. Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Ioan Gruffudd) can elongate his body; Susan Storm/ Invisible Woman (Jessica Alba) can become invisible and render other objects invisible at will; Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Chris Evans) can shoot fire from his finger tips and bend flame; and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Michael Chiklis), a hideously misshapen monster with superhuman strength, together must battle the evil Doctor Doom (Julian McMahon).

    My VeRdIcT

A good one. Ok went to watch Fantastic 4 on last wednesday at klcc. The previous week, I had asked my friend about Fantastic 4. He just said ok. However I did not expect the outcome of the movie would be excellent. There is a lot of humour and at the end of the show I really got a sore tummy! :) Overall, the movie we all been waiting is finally here. The effects are done magnificently and character development was great. If you want to be entertained then this is the movie for you and for everyone else who is young at heart. I guarantee you would like it as long as you do not expect too much except to enjoy with your regular soda and popcorn.

    ChArAcTeR AnAlYsIs

Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman was wonderful. Lot of FF fans frowned when she was cast as Sue Storm thinking they wanted a blonde bombshell to boot, but when you watched this movie you would surely like her.

Michael Chiklis as the Thing is barnone no other. It is the VOICE.

Chris Evans as the Human Torch is really downright funny and the way he portray Torch makes it really cool and cute.

Ioan Gruffudd as Mr. Fantastic was ok even when you watch the movie that he looks awfully dry but that was the character he was supposed to portray a person that shows no emotion whatsoever.

Julian McMahon as Dr. Doom was actually good, but the bad thing about it is that his arms turned into metal and shoot electrical burst from his hands.

Have you ever being stalked? Yes I had! Seriously, I had been stalked a few times but the most recent incident was the scariest.

    Incident 1
It just happened 2 days ago. Siew Sian and I went to One Utama for shopping. Ok, we went there about a thousand times but it just struck us on that day. We were passing by the roti boy shop, but somehow I noticed someone was looking at me. His appearance- a 40 something Chinese guy, nationality- probably not Malaysian and he was carrying a black briefcase. He gave me this really sly look. Later Siew Sian and I were sitting down on a bench at the new wing. I was real shocked when the same particular guy came and approached me! He said -Hi, do you want to see something in mandrin. At that time I was speechless and did not know what to do. Luckily Siew Sian pulled my hand and we managed to escape. The third time we saw him again. Oh, mind! He was definitely trailing us. We quickly run to the nearest shop and hide there. We had our dinner and straight out from the One Utama entrance.

    Incident 2
It happened a few months ago. Well this stalker is kinda of mild than the previous one. The first time I saw this guy was after my English class. His appearance- black short hair, wears thick black glasses and always carrying a laptop on his shoulder. I was waiting for the feeder bus and he was there standing looking directly at me. Ok, I do not mind at first coz maybe I was the one who imagined things. However, every time after my English class, the same day and time, he was there at the same spot looking at me. He did smile and grin a lot. In fact, once in the bus he just sat right behind me. Really scary! I can feel his eyes penetrating through my head. Luckily now I had finished my course. So would not be seeing this weirdo guy anymore.

    Incident 3
Restoran Sayang Salhah was our favourite spot for dinner. It happened last year. Every time when we walked into this restaurant, I noticed one of the workers always got so excited. He would quickly come and took our orders plus grinning and smiling at me. When he gave us our drinks, he would not put it on the table. The trick was when we took the drinks from him; some how we would touch his hands. That was real sick! Once, I was wearing this normal pink t-shirt. He said aloud-Ah Moi sangat cantik hari ini! And after we paid our bills he would say goodbye to us. What did we do? Never land our foot in that shop again.

    Conclusion
I did learn a lot of things from these incidents:
    Never talked to strangers
Always go out in a group
When the stalkers approached you, just they ignored them

    A story about KDU Hall

    A Story About KDU Hall

KDU Hall aka KDU Hostel. My first impression-bad! Ok, about 8km from college, a low cost flat- far from civilization, only got one miserable malay stall and taxi fare to kota damansara so expensive! Despite my endless complaints, I loved it there actually.Although, I only spent tiny % of my lifetime in apartment 205 - already 1 year out of 19 - but it had a huge impact on me. I never had been through so many experiences, nor have I ever felt so much conflicting emotions. More importantly, I made some fabulous friends, but sad to say we will be going separate ways after this 5months.Hehe. I was lucky too to stay in the single room, since privacy is a priority for me. So let me take u a tour around KDU hostel. Enjoy!

The front door that will always greet you! Hehe.If you are lucky enough to pass through the security

Maroon and beige.Nice combination for KDU hostel!

My apartment living room.hehe.Looks so empty but yet so clean.

Finally my cozy room. What do you think?

The view outside my window. The surau that will wakes me up every morning.

Finally friends in Kdu hall. One happy family!

"I survived. Yes. 5 days and four nights of expected torture was not realised as it turned out way much wonderful then what I had in mind."

    Intro
We had to assemble at Masjid Negara. Ok, there were so many people from different colleges like KYUEM, Taylors and KDU. My first impression was that I would not able to mingle well; moreover most of them are seniors. Our camp was at Ulu Tiram, JB. The route to this place was kind of tiring. 5 hours stuck in the bus from KL to JB.

    Day One
I was glad that all my kdu friends and jane were staying in the same house; by the lake with this little cute bridge. At night, we were divided into groups. I was in group 8: 2 from kdu, 2 from taylors and the rest was from uem. The jurulatih told us to form a committee- mostly dominated by the uem students. Ok, for the secretary post they decided to choose student from other colleges. Suddenly I heard penghulu said the girl beside ida and at that very moment everyone was looking at me. I was shocked! Me? Thanks gyl for choosing me. I did a great job rite? Slept at 2.00am.

    Day Two
Woke up at 5.00pm and was feeling very sleepy during moral class. The whole day we had 4 lectures. The lectures were supposed to cover 4 broad topics; the people, the motherland, the government and sovereignty. The first speaker was ok but the second was a bit boring-giving us tons and tons of statistic figures. The last was definitely boring. My eyes were getting heavier and I nearly felt asleep. At last it ended at 11.30pm. Did the carta organisasi with jane. Slept at 2.00am again.

    Day Three
We had many physical activities to complete; pumping, balance with one leg, low skipping, breathing test, heart beat test, 2 km run under 25 minutes and many more. Actually it was fun. I managed to run 2 km in 16 minutes 27 seconds. Glad to pass it. Then we had the LDK sessions (latihan dalam kumpulan). This was conducted by a facilitator and he guided us through the modules, 8 in total:4 for today. Met many new friends, and get to know my group members well. They are definitely a bunch of cool people. Our facilitator, Pak Tam was a great guy too.

    Day Four
We continued with our next 4 LDK sessions. Since it was Friday, the malays were going to the mosque. So for the first time, we had three hour break. Guess what I did? Jane and I followed gyl, yong and billy to pluck mangosteen. It was definitely my first time to see guys climbing a very big tree. Hehe. Actually, quite impressed. One word to describe the mangosteens-juicy! At night we had our last LDK session. It ended about 11.30pm. Later jane, yong, gyl and I talked at a hut outside our house. It was so cool to meet them and I do not really expect it when I first came here. We actually talked and talked until 3.00am. Slept at 3.30am

    Day Five
It was test day. Thank god, managed to do most of the questions. Sad to say that we had to leave and everything had come to an end. It was real hard for me to bid farewell to all my friends especially gyl, jane and yong. It was amazing that strong friendship can be built in just 5days. I really missed all the fun times we had together in the camp. I wonder when I will be seeing them again.

    Conclusion
    BTN camp was fun.
I just love it when things turn out great when you least expect it to.
