Aesthetic architecture right? It’s called the Royal Exhibition Building. However, it isn’t any ordinary building in Melbourne. REB is listed as the world heritage site. Yes, indeed it served as a tourism spot but it is also a war zone for Melbourne University students! 6 days more I will be having my final exams there. Time really flies. I hate exams =(
During exams:
- I’m bored. Studying throughout the weeks and days until the last paper. I hate doing repetitive task over and over again.
- Short term memory syndrome. I need help! Can’t really remember what I had studied so far. Once I go to the next lecture slide, I forget the previous one.
- One way brain. My brain works in a straight line. Once the exam questions twist another way, I am totally screwed.
- I have not enough time. Always feel that I need more time to study and do the questions during exams
- I get lazy. Especially during swot vac, I tend to sleep in during mornings.
- I gain extra weight. Exam is the best time to feast on junk food.
- I wish that mummy is here to cook nice, yummy and nutritious food for me.
- I wish that I’m just smarter or is a genius. I hate being average! People tend to look down on me because of my H2B, H3 or P grades.

This month is all about birthday celebrations, food, spending money and stress. Mummy’s birthday was the one to begin with. I am finally relieved that she received her birthday present just yesterday. It had been more than 3 weeks and I nearly thought that it was lost on the way to Malaysia. Fortunately luck was on my side =)
Then, it was Sam, Vivienne and Kee’s birthday. Mostly every week we had one celebration. We had Korean for Sam, Italian for Vivi and Nando for Kee. Guess what? I gained 2 kg since I back to Melbourne. Boy, I think my weight might hit the number 50kg after exams. Exam is the best time for junk food. On top of that, Aaron is feeding me with lots of food everyday. I am sure mummy is very happy to hear this.
Now it’s about money. I got my 2nd pay cheque on last Friday and already spent most of it in shopping. I know that I should save some for rainy days but can’t help it. I simply love shopping. Bought a new black jacket which looks superbly cool with my boots =)
Mei Mei, if you are reading this, I bought you a new jacket too (same as mine), your present for getting JPA scholarship. Hehe..it’s not cheap, girl and definitely will keep you warm in winter when you come to Australia.
Last but not least, the month of May is all about stress. Final exams are coming! 13 days more. I don’t feel anything and still got no motivation to study. I need someone to bug me to study. I really miss those times back home when mummy will usually remind or urge me to study if I slacked off. I had been pretty off track my studies these few weeks since I am busy balancing my time between work and uni. However, I am glad that I have my time off from work for 3 weeks beginning this Friday. Yeah! Honestly working in an office is really boring. And there goes my intimidating timetable.
6/7- Business Finance
7/7- Organisational Behaviour
13/7- Intermediate Financial Accouting
21/7- Cost Management
My exam timetable is ok but I hate it when I end so late (2nd last day of exam period). Haha.. on the brighter side. I got more time to study. That’s what exactly I need the most now. 2nd year is definitely tough so hopefully I get at least a H2B in all my subjects except for IFA. I want a H1!! Enough of my ramblings. Shir Li is now becoming a very studious bookworm for the next 3 weeks.
Happy 21st Bithday, Vivienne!
In a nutshell, thumb up for Spiderman 3.
Seafood Risotto
Yummy looked alike XXL chicken curry puff (don't know what is it called)
Apart from that I so glad to announce that I received my first pay slip last Friday. Yippee! Even though it is not a lot, as the company pays their employees every 2 weeks. Guess what? I spent it on yummy food in one of the famous Italian restaurant in Lygon Street. Treat my beloved Aaron for dinner and bought him a prezzie. I hope that he like it. Haha, I know that it’s a bit childish but I’m always a baby right? =P Now, I can’t wait to get my second pay cheque next week and this time I will get a nano ipod generation 2. Yeah!
Dinner at Sante
Froggie and yummy rose chocolate
Posing with road runner
The latest pic of me. Notice anything different? (p/s: hehe..I had my hair cut, wore a dress and boots which I bought it at a real bargain price >.<)
